I bought a pixel 9 recently to upgrade from my pixel 6 and it came with "Pixel Studio" an AI image generation model (cloud-assisted).

It's decent, creates good looking images from a distance with a wide variety of styles.
Quality is like a 7/10, it's main limitations are that it cant create humans (probably because they'd be an uncanny-vally mess), that if you zoom in, the quality is rough, and text being jumbled.

I actually used it for my current profile picture (at the time of writing)

It seems to have alot of gaps in it's memories though. For example I tried to have it generate me a first generation E85 BMW Z4 (because it's my car), It seemed to not know what it was and just generated E89's (second gens) and G29's (third gens).

I'm also currently working on a project for one of my game design classes that's basically retarded Kirby in Unity. I tried to make a cover art background and while it didn't give me exactly what I wanted, it did create some decent (albeit very rough if you zoom in) Kirby pixel art.

In another kirby-styled render, it decided to take one of the cute puff-balls and turn it into a jpeg ass abomination.

I also tried a realistic car render of a Corvette C8 Z06 (my current dream car, that sound is holy). It did pretty good even if it just made it a C8 Stingray (the base model).

Lastly, I tried some pixel art cars, It did quite well (whilst still suffering the low quality pixels) they do look like the original cars and the pixel art is stylistically nice.

Pixel Studio is promising and in the perspective of a game developer, I can't see it replacing 3D Artists, Concept Artists, anything that involves new ideas or creativity in any real way. But if you just need a quick mockup asset or like an Icon, it can be very useful. I can see AI being VERY useful for prototyping new projects extremely quickly.
