Halo Infinite: Operation Snowbound (1v1 Showdown, 3 Snow Maps, Snowball Fights + more)

Yesterday, Halo Infinite's newest operation: Snowbound released. Coming with the operation today is the finalized 1v1 Showdown mode, 3 Snow Maps (2 new, 1 returning), and a Free Operation Pass. Later in the operation a brand new themed mode called "Snowball Fight" will release.

1v1 Showdown:

This one's very cool, you're basically on like basic geo maps but they're in the shape of other maps from the game and older halos. You fight on them, every round you change spawns and after someone wins 5 it switches the map and you move to the next game in the set.

First to 3 sets wins, It actually doesn't take that long but keeps it meaty and interesting. Either you kill the other player to win or you capture the control point (which is usually equally in the middle of the map). As expected there are sets of weapons that are randomized (like premade loadouts not just fiesta).

ALSO! You can queue this mode in a party of 2, allowing you to easily 1v1 your friends and get match XP for it.

Snowbound: Returning from Halo 3

Snow Ground: A snowy version of Halo 3's High Ground

Snow Fire: Returning from last year, A snowy version of Live Fire

I quite like it, feels like what would happen if a sentinel drone and a spartan fused.

Snowball Fight:

Later this operation (usually about 2 weeks in so around christmas), a brand new mode will come out: Snowball Fight. Except instead of snowballs its plasma grenades, and instead of getting snow on your face, you die.
