Today, the Halo 2 E3 Demo released on MCC, the first time it's ever been available to the public. I've played it and it honestly made me excited for Halo 2, a game I have played 4 times.
My playthrough of the Halo 2 E3 Demo
It's really cool but you can TELL that it was made to be played only one way. It's basically a interactive cutscene with character dissapearing off-camera and scripted events just popping into existence as the demo-er would be instructed to look away the action. It's pretty cool to see all the weird and quirky old-versions of guns and the weird way they originally did dual wielding.

How do I play it?
STEP 1 – Head to the Steam Workshop page and subscribe to the mod.
STEP 2 – Boot up MCC on PC with Anti-Cheat disabled (this can be selected on start-up).
STEP 3 – Enter the campaign menu for Halo 2 and load up the level you want to play.
